About me

My name is Connor Chan-Jansens. I am an aspiring designer based in New York City.

Born and raised here, I grew up fast in a household that valued hard work and dedication over anything else. Introduced to creative fields when I was very young, I bounced around touching on architecture, sculpture, pottery, and finally design. I fell in love with the duality between the creative and technical aspects of designing clothes. Looking for the perfect balance of form and function. A quest that endures.

My designs are often rooted in my outlook on life, an appreciation for what’s banal and seemingly mundane but yet hopeful. Intertwined with my love of texture and detail.

I am currently attending Fashion Institute of Technology, majoring in Fashion Design.
